Photos and reflections after the fold.

Only a small shop today, because apparently I was at the supermarket at a peak time, and there were none of the larger baskets available.
The Special K is a scratch-and-dent discount, and was the last one they had in stock. I assume it’s okay on the inside…
I should have gone shopping yesterday, but I wanted to pull back on the ‘remaining’ balance, so I had takeaway from the local ramen place; Pork Katsu Curry and Chicken Karaage Don, same as seen previously. No alcohol this time. I really should start working on reducing my alcohol backlog, and free-up some fridge space.
The small shop worked out well as I have plans on Thursday night that may involve a cheat-meal, so it’s likely the next shop will actually be on Friday the 18th.
Looking back, we’re 10 weeks into 2022, and I’ve had 12 cheat meals. Apart from that disastrous week in the middle of February, I’ve been doing one every 2-3 weeks, so I’m pretty happy with that.
I also note with interest that I haven’t hand any off-plan meals where I _did_ have a kilojoule count available. This is actually not surprising, because when I consider such meals, they’re always way too high for their value.
My team at work is moving back to meet in-office once a week, and we usually do a team lunch, so these two categories are likely to see more activity over the next few months.
Looking forward, I realise I’m not yet sure how I’m going to do this long-term, specifically once I’ve moved to Japan. The initial plan is to just lose weight, but the next stage is unclear.
Can I keep this up in the land where ramen flows like water?
