Still in-office a lot, so small trips to the local supermarket to supplement the takeaway.
As well as the trail mix boxes I mentioned last update, this time round the “extra” included the above. This is actually something I bought as antipasto for Wine and Cheese Society (it’s less formal than it sounds) last year, and we didn’t eat it then, so it’s been in the work fridge waiting. It took ages to drain all the oil off, and in the end I wouldn’t get it again as a meal in itself.
Friday was day-in-office for my team, so we ate lunch together, but only grabbed take-away from the café in my office building. For the calories spent, I’ve had Vietnamese Fried Rice I preferred, but not every meal is going to be a winner.
I’ve also had two more of the seafood mixed grill I included the photograph of last update, ’cause I reckon that’s working well in terms of weight. Interim weigh-in suggests I’ve lost maybe 2kg since the start of the month, which is a vast relief in terms of “Can I eat takeway when I don’t have a kitchen”. However, the interim weigh-ins are in a different state of dress and time-of-day from the “real” weigh-ins, so there’s likely a lot of uncontrolled variance there.
