Photos and reflections after the fold.

I passed my CKAD exam so decided to treat myself to ramen. However, the ramen place was quite busy, so I got take-out instead, as seen here.

I also didn’t actually plan to do food-shopping that night, so I only had a small shopping bag with me for drinks. The wait for the takeaway was longer than usual (I don’t normally go during peak period, apparently) so I decided to do my shopping, and took what I could jam into my bag.

That’s not why there’s no All-Bran though. I was surprised to find my local supermarket was sold out of it. So I substituted, and randomised, and ended up with what you can see here. This is usually where my diet falls apart, but I got past this hurdle without replacing anything with baked goods, this time.

The soup from last week was good, so I got more of those. I got some seaweed and dip which I wanted to try based on a suggestion from my sister, but the seaweed has been out-of-stock until now.

At least now I’m back to a weekend shopping day, since it’s super-annoying trying to get out and buy stuff after work; and also takes me past the ramen place when they’re open, so it’s super-tempting too.

I’m doing all the calculations by hand. Perhaps I should put together a spreadsheet to auto-fill some of the fields? Although that’ll probably be annoying to copy into WordPress’s editor widgets, so this’ll do for now.

On the other hand, I wonder if I can find one of those RPG level-up images as an exploitable I can drive. That’s what I’m doing in my head, but it probably doesn’t come through well on the blog.

The keen amongst you will have noticed that this update is being posted a day late. Again, that’s because going shopping last thing in the evening, and bringing take-away home in the process, meant I got as far as taking photographs and adding up the calories, and then couldn’t be bothered actually doing a blog post.
